Book Description: This guide provides hands-on advice for teachers engaging with newcomers and multilingual learners in a variety of settings, focusing on the teaching of social studies, science, and math. I provide narrative of my own experiences as a mom of a bilingual child in the United States. The book is composed of 12 chapters, following a four-quadrant model where each part is composed of 3 chapters with an axis in-between, following Sa’ah Naaghái Bik’eh Hózhóón (Benally, 1994).
