  1. Many people were taught to use “usted” to talk to their elders: their parents, grandparents, etc. This seems to be changing in some countries, and even in the United States.
    1. What do you use to talk to your older relatives? If you don’t speak Spanish at home, ask your classmates or someone in your community.
    2. Besides pronouns, what other words or phrases can we use to show respect when talking to someone who is older or who we don’t know?
  2. What do you think about inclusive pronouns? Have you heard someone use them? Do you think it is important to use them? Elaborate your answers.
