In this activity you will learn new words from a Spanish speaking person.

  1. Find a Spanish speaking person (a family member, a friend, neighbor, etc.) If you cannot find someone, use one of your social media applications to locate a person, or ask you instructor to help you locate someone. Ask them the following question and write their answers on a paper.

Parte 3: Lets Get Creative!

Instructions:

  1. Do something creative that represents, symbolizes, or explains the word you just learned.
  2. Look at the examples below to get some ideas.

Fort Lewis College student Taylor Sinclair learned the word escalofríos. She decided to create an image similar to that of the Mexican lotería to show a skeleton with escalofríos, or chills.
