Mapalé, mamá brava, ITO, guau!, rutina, times, school

This part is dedicated to alternative Afro-Colombian genre in the Caribbean such as bullerengue and mapalé. These deal with death, daily Afro-Colombian chores, war and resistance among the African escapees. You’ll learn how to describe family members through adjectives, how to mock animal sounds, and how to express possession of your school supplies. You’ll learn more about expressing routines and times of day. Also, you’ll be aware of the ITO and ITA endings you commonly find in Spanish.
